Quiet Eye Photography is a collaboration. Sierra and Klea were each photographing weddings on their own, then in 2007 they decided to team up and form Quiet Eye Photography. They each come from different photographic backgrounds so their individual styles and skills compliment one another and bring a unique look to their wedding photography. Sierra Lerer Sierra is a travel and lifestyle photographer. When not in the Bay Area she spends her time traveling and photographing the faces, daily rituals, patterns and textures of the places she visits. Her approach to photography is calm and quiet; she captures moments as they naturally unfold. Sierra studied photography at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Klea McKenna Klea is a fine art and documentary photographer. Her documentary work focuses on storytelling through images and has been published nationally. In 2011 Klea co-founded the arts blog In The Make, which documents the studio practice of compelling artists and designers. She holds an MFA in visual art from California College of the Arts. She has taught photography at CCA and UC Davis and currently makes her home on San Francisco's Bernal Hill. Jessica Skloven is our Associate Photographer. She is trained in fine art photography and holds an MFA in visual art. Jessica currently teaches photography in the Bay Area and exhibits her work widely. |
